Peace Nest U Shaped Pregnant Body Pillow With Zipperd Removable Cotton Cover (Pink and Blue)
Getting comfortable becomes more of a challenge the bigger you get. This is a common thing you hear during pregnancy. An because of that it’s difficult to get a good nights sleep. You can certainly use several pillows to support yourself. You know the way they did it in the old days. It is much easier to invest in a Maternity Pillow to do all the work. Check out my experience below.
The Jolly Jumper Mama Sleep Eze Body Pillow
An “L” shaped Pillow. Your head will rest on the short end, while you use the longer end to tuck between your legs and support your belly. I should warn you that maternity pillows take up a lot of space. It is like a giant wall between you and your significant other. You may not see them again until after pregnancy (This is a well worth it sacrifice in the name of comfort). Over all this pillow is comfortable. Not a firm pillow by any means. I have not had any issue with the support it gives to my neck or head.
The one thing I don’t like is the “L” shape design. When you turn over, you have to flip the pillow in the middle of the night. I am sure you and your partner will agree that, this is not an option. Flipping something this size will feel like an earthquake, then it will be both of you having trouble sleeping.
The other option, the one I have opted for is making due by pulling the long part of the pillow between my legs from behind. This option still gives you some support but it’s not ideal. The other thing I am not crazy about is how difficult the pillow cover is to put on. I spent a good amount of time trying to wiggle this pillow back in through a slit at one end of the cover. The price for this pillow is reasonable but I do think there are better options out there.
Peace Nest U Shaped Pregnant Body Pillow With Zipper Removable Cotton Cover (Pink and Blue)
After that experience I looked for a maternity pillow that was a “U” or “C” shape which would mean I could toss and turn without sacrificing any level of support (I suppose the only downside to this is the “U” or “C” shape is slightly bigger again). I also looked for one that has a zipper on pillow cover to save a lot of unnecessary frustration.
I would recommend checking out the Peace Nest U Shaped Pregnant Body Pillow With Zipper Removable Cotton Cover (Pink and Blue). This Maternity pillow offers both the “U” shaped design, and a zippered on pillow case.
What makes this one so unique you ask? It can be taken a part into three separate pieces. which can be used in different arrangements. Starting a family is expensive as it is. So any product which is multipurpose is like pure gold. Between purchasing maternity clothes, baby gear, baby clothes, and saving for your future scholars college education.
Here is another function. When nursing in the middle of the night. Just use the “U” configuration it will keep you comfortable, while keeping the baby supported. During the day when your up and about, the head piece can be removed and used alone as a nursing pillow. So forget buying a separate nursing pillow this will actually save you money…cha-ching!. The price for this pillow is very reasonable and worth a look. Check current prices on Amazon here.
